Professional Musical Instrument Repairs

We have built our reputation on quality, timely repairs at a reasonable cost. From minor play-conditioning to major overhauls, we believe that attention to detail and consistent excellence of worksmanship are a priority in all repairs.

Standard Woodwind Repairs

Regulate & Adjust: Level leaking pads or keys. Adjust spring tension, replace key corks/felts and adjust key heights as necessary. Adjust, regulate, and lubricate key mechanism and play test.

Play Condition: Regulate & Adjust, plus necessary pad replacement and miscellaneous repairs as needed.

Repad: Disassemble and clean instrument. Reassemble and install all new pads and key corks/felts. Refit tenon joint as necessary and replace all tenon corks. Tighten key action as necessary, adjust and regulate keys and key mechanism. Lubricate key mechanism and play test.

Overhaul: Repad, plus remove dents, refit and polish keys, rings, posts and body. Oiling of wood-bodied instruments as necessary. Remove dents and re-lacquer saxophones.

Standard Brass Repairs

Chem-flush: Disassemble and chemically clean all metal parts. Reassemble and install all new corks/felts and waterkey springs. Align valves. Lubricate all moving parts and play test.

Dent removal: Dents are removed on an as-requested basis, and estimates are only given upon inspection of the instrument.

Soldering/Brazing: Broken joints and parts are repaired using materials designed specifially for instrument repair.

Overhaul: Chem-flush, plus remove all dents, strip lacquer, buff/polish and re-lacquer. Return instrument to as close to like new condition as possible.

String Repairs

String repairs available include:

Guitar Repairs

We perform basic repairs on acoustic and electric guitars and basses, including restringing, neck adjustments, fret dressing, nut and saddle replacement and adjustment, and structural repairs.
